Congratulations are in order for Ian Buchanan (ex-Duke Lavery, General Hospital; ex-James Warwick, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Ian McAllister, Days of our Lives; ex-Dr. Greg Madden, All My Children), who, together with actor Billy Wirth, won the Best Acting Duo trophy at the Indie Short Fest.
The pair was recognized for their outstanding work in the short film Shutter the Doors, which captures a moment in a man's life as he deals with an unimaginable loss. The film was written and directed by Sheri Sussman, and executive produced by Buchanan.
"I had the best, most fulfilling experience making this short film," enthuses Buchanan of his acting win. "Sheri and Billy were all I knew on this day. They lifted me up, I had their back. Magic was made!"
