Daytime alum Tom Pelphrey (ex-Jonathan Randall, Guiding Light) has been taking television by storm as Ben Davis on Ozark. He received his first primetime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series category this year for his performance on the Netflix series, and the good news doesn't stop there. Pelphrey and his girlfriend Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory fame have announced that they are expecting a little bundle of joy.
Cuoco recently posted a photo on Instagram with Pelphrey holding a piece of cake with pink in the center. The caption of the photo read, " Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023💕 beyond blessed and over the moon... I 💓you @tommypelphrey !!!"
Pelphrey also took to Instagram with his own photo of the two happy expecting parents holding mugs that said "papa bear" and "mama bear." Pelphrey wrote, "And then it was even MORE BETTER. 🎀🎀🎀. Love you more than ever @kaleycuoco ♥️🙏♥️"
The soon-to-be father is continuing to stay busy with more upcoming projects. Pelphrey has two new films coming out this fall. He will be starring in American Murderer along with One Life to Live alum Ryan Phillippe (ex-Billy Douglas). The film is set to be released on October 28. He will also be appearing in She Said, which is set to be released on November 18. Other projects to look out for include two television mini-series, Love and Death (postproduction) and A Man in Full (filming).
Tom Pelphrey starred on GL from 2004 to 2009, winning two Daytime Emmy Awards for his work on the CBS soap opera. After he left GL, he briefly appeared on As the World Turns.
