At the cliff house, Steffy and Finn made out until they were interrupted by a disturbing call from Li, announcing that Hollis from Il Giardino had died. Finn put the phone on speaker. Li still didn't know the cause of death, but the hospital was running tests.
Finn decided to meet his mom in the morgue, and as he prepared to go, Steffy freaked out, noting that it had happened at Il Giardino. She said it was rare for a young man to die unexpectedly. Finn promised to keep her posted, and he took off.
Later, Finn and Li gazed at Hollis, covered to his shoulders on a steel table. Li said it was hard when one knew the deceased. Finn said that Hollis had been active with no known medical conditions. Finn told Hollis that he'd been cheated, his life cut way too short. Li told Hollis that she was sorry it had happened to him, and she covered his face with the sheet.
In Eric's office, Brooke and Ridge made out, and he was glad to have her in the office. She said they should collaborate more on "this" special project. Hope arrived, and, apologizing for interrupting, she announced that Hollis from Il Giardino had died. Brooke and Ridge were horrified by the news. Hope didn't know much more and hadn't wanted to bombard Deacon with questions.
Brooke was amazed by how quickly things could change. She was glad she'd gotten to know Hollis on their little date. Ridge replied that it had been one dinner, but he was sure she'd made an impression. Brooke recalled that Hollis had been sweet and hadn't deserved to die.
Hope believed that Hollis had had a positive influence on Deacon and had grounded him. Brooke thought Deacon had been lucky to have him. Ridge wished they'd talk about the elephant in the room -- that two people had died within a few weeks at Il Giardino.
Steffy arrived and assumed they'd been talking about Hollis. She declared that there was no way the two deaths could be a coincidence. Steffy assumed Hope had information because it was her dad's place of business. Hope said she didn't know if anyone else had been hurt. None of them knew how it could happen, but Steffy had suspicions. "Multiple deaths at Il Giardino? Only one person comes to mind. Sheila," Steffy concluded.
At Il Giardino, Deacon and Sheila were devastated by Hollis' death. Sorry she'd had to find the body like that, Deacon noted that Hollis and Thomas were both gone. Hollis had helped Deacon build his business, and Deacon couldn't imagine running the place without Hollis, the hardest-working and most loyal employee. Deacon asked "what the hell" had happened.
Sheila tried to comfort Deacon. He wondered what he'd missed. She told him that it wasn't his fault, but Deacon asserted that he was the boss. He'd wanted to be someone his employees could go to. He remarked that Hollis, not a partier, had eaten clean and worked out. Deacon asked if Sheila had noticed anything. She said it was a mystery.
Deacon wondered who could be next. Sheila could see it weighing on Deacon. He said Hollis had been like a brother and had made the place feel like a home. He'd charmed the ladies and made strangers feel welcome to return. Sheila remarked that Hollis had loved working with Deacon. Deacon felt responsible and said there could have been signs. Sheila replied that there was no telling what went on with people behind closed doors.
Deacon insisted that Hollis had been bright and happy around there. Tom had been a sweet guy, who'd been turning his life around. Deacon felt as if he'd been clueless. Sheila told Deacon that he couldn't change the course of destiny for anyone. Deacon stated that he hadn't had many friends, but Tom and Hollis had been his friends. Sheila comforted Deacon.
At Bill's house, Bill was glad to get some time with Poppy. They'd missed each other over the weekend, and she'd gotten in late the other night. He figured she'd tell him if something was going on. "Wouldn't you?" Bill asked. To him, she seemed stressed out or troubled. Poppy hadn't realized she was acting that way. Bill hoped she had no doubts about them, and he promised to always take care of her and Luna.
Luna arrived, upset that her friend Hollis was gone, and she'd never see him again. She'd just been laughing and joking with him the other night, and he'd had his whole life ahead of him. The shocked Poppy and Bill said they were there for her. Bill wondered if they should stay away from Il Giardino for a while due to the restaurant's run of bad luck.
Later, Poppy scrolled through her phone, saying Li was overseeing the postmortem exam. Luna got upset to think of Hollis that way. Poppy said she was sorry, but Li had texted Poppy, who'd thought it would comfort Luna that Li and Finn were with Hollis. Luna cried that it wasn't normal that so many people were dying at the same place.
Bill tried to give it some perspective. Though the losses were tragic, he figured they could honor them by being grateful for what they had. Adding that it was important that they counted their blessings, Poppy declared that her biggest blessing was Bill. She adored her life with him. She said it had been a dream come true. Bill replied that it had been for him, too.
Poppy hugged Bill and decided that she had to run. There was somewhere she needed to be. After Poppy had gone, Bill continued to support Luna, telling her that they'd get through it together. He asked if Luna knew where Poppy had run off to, but Luna shook her head.
Back in the morgue, Li and Finn went over Hollis' report. Besides minor contusions, probably caused by Hollis collapsing, nothing stood out in the report. Finn figured that the awaited toxicology report would tell them more. Li's phone kept chiming as they talked. Finn wondered if she'd respond to it. She said it was just his father, who kept texting and calling her.
Finn wondered what Jack wanted, but before Li could say more, a nurse arrived with the toxicology report. Li was stunned by what she read in the report. She handed Finn the folder, and he seemed taken aback by what he read.
Poppy arrived, and Li asked what her sister was doing there. "I said I'd text," Li said. Poppy replied that Luna was upset about Hollis, so Poppy thought she'd get Luna some answers. Poppy asked if they knew how Hollis had died. Li replied that it hadn't been natural causes. "Hollis was drugged, Poppy. Drugged. And I know exactly who did it," Li claimed.
At Forrester, Brooke, Ridge, Steffy, and Hope gathered around a laptop to read the latest about the death investigation. They learned that Il Giardino employees were giving police interviews. Ridge quipped that it would take a bite out of the pizza business. Steffy knew which employee should be questioned first, and bad press would be the least of Deacon's worries.
Hope asked if Steffy thought Deacon had something to do with it. Ridge noted that Deacon had a shady past, and it had happened at his restaurant. Steffy insisted that it wasn't hard to connect the dots. Hope stated that she could see it if Hollis and Tom had been shot or stabbed.
Steffy replied that Sheila would hurt people any way she could. Hope wasn't sure it wasn't a coincidence. Steffy assumed Hope would tell them to keep an open mind about Sheila. "No," Hope replied. Steffy said it was because Hope's instincts were the same as Steffy's. Hope agreed that Hollis and Tom could have died because of Sheila, but she asked why.
Steffy stated that Li and Finn were going over Hollis' autopsy. Steffy did not doubt that Sheila had done it, and when Steffy figured the crimes out, the men would get justice. Getting up to leave, Steffy vowed that Sheila Carter would pay that time.
Later, Hope sighed, thinking of Deacon's love for Sheila and Steffy's denunciations of Deacon's wife. Hope said Hollis' death was awful, and she wanted to know why it had happened. Ridge said they all knew it had been because Deacon had let Sheila into their lives. Hope wondered if the autopsy would produce more questions than answers. Upset, she said Deacon would need solid proof before believing Sheila had had anything to do with it.
Ridge didn't think Deacon would believe anything in the autopsy report. Hope wondered what that would do for her relationship with Deacon. Deciding that wasn't the point, she said Hollis' family wouldn't see him again. Ridge insisted that Steffy was right, and it was all about Sheila.
At the hospital, Li concluded that it wasn't an accident that the same drug had been found in Tom and Hollis' system. They'd been killed, and Li knew exactly who'd done it. Poppy asked who, but Li figured Poppy already knew. Li deduced that the victims had been killed with the same drug at the same place. Finn thought Li was jumping to conclusions, but Li said the men had encountered the same unstable woman -- Sheila Carter.
Li thought Finn would defend Sheila, but he replied that he couldn't help thinking the same thing. Poppy, who thought Sheila had a frightening history, agreed with Li about Sheila. Finn reminded them that they couldn't say it wasn't part of the drug overdose epidemic. Li asked if she had to remind Finn of the things Sheila had done to them. Li flashed back to her car exploding as she went into the water. She was sure Sheila had killed the two men.
Later, Poppy had gone, and Li noted that Poppy agreed about Sheila. Li asked about Finn. He said he wasn't conducting the investigation, but it would be short-sighted to ignore Sheila's history. The deaths were worth looking into. Li stated that it was exactly what she'd do. She intended to go over there and confront "that madwoman." Finn told Li that she couldn't do that when there was no conclusive evidence tying Sheila to it.
"Except that we know her. We know what she's capable of," Li replied. Finn decided he'd go with Li, but she admonished him, reminding him that he couldn't go anywhere near Sheila.
Steffy arrived and asked about the autopsy results. Li announced that, just like Tom Starr, Hollis had been murdered by Sheila. "That's my mother's interpretation," Finn inserted. Li asked if he thought it was possible, and he quietly affirmed it. Li and Finn informed Steffy that a drug had also killed Hollis, and the report had called it suspicious.
Though it was concerning, it didn't mean the deaths were related, according to Finn. He noted that the men had worked at the same place and had socialized with the same people. Steffy was shocked that Hollis had died of the same drug as Tom. Steffy asserted that there were no coincidences as far as Sheila was concerned.
Steffy recalled that Deacon and Hollis had been shocked that Tom might have been using drugs again -- and then Hollis had died the same way. Steffy asserted that Sheila had killed them, and that time, Sheila would pay for her crimes.
At Il Giardino, Sheila listened as Deacon gave a phone interview, vowing not to give up until he got answers about what had killed his employees and friends. Deacon got off the phone, upset because the reporter had made it seem as if the restaurant was cursed. Sheila asked if Deacon was feeling that way. He said he might be, but he didn't want it on the news. Deacon desired answers to what had happened.
Sheila didn't want Deacon to let the reporter get to him and said he'd had nothing to do with it. Disagreeing, Deacon replied that it was his establishment and his friends. He'd been upstairs, steps away, when Hollis had died, but he hadn't known.
Sheila noted that Deacon still didn't know. Deacon asked what had happened to Hollis. It didn't make sense to Deacon that a sober Tom had overdosed. She said one bad decision could have a tragic outcome. Deacon asked about Hollis and asserted that they had no idea why he'd died.
Deacon knew that Sheila was struggling, too. He could still hear her screams in his head, and it was as if a plague had fallen over the place. Sheila reasoned that the deaths could be a coincidence, and they might have happened there because it was where the men had spent most of their time. Deacon said they'd know soon enough. She asked what that meant. Deacon gave Sheila a look and admitted that he was starting to think the deaths were not accidents.
Sheila asked what Deacon was saying. Things didn't add up to Deacon, and it was as if something or someone was behind it. Deacon would have accepted that Tom had just overdosed, but then they'd found Hollis. Sheila understood that Deacon didn't want his friends' deaths to be meaningless, but she said it wasn't murder. Sheila and Deacon hugged.
In Eric's office, Brooke, Ridge, and Hope awaited answers from Steffy. Hope said it had felt "like yesterday" when she'd been watching Hollis prepare things on Deacon and Sheila's wedding day. Ridge asserted that Sheila had killed those men. He didn't know how or why, but she had.
Carter arrived, guessing they'd heard. He said his contact at the police department had reached out with information about what had killed Hollis -- an overdose. Hope said Hollis cared about himself and his health. Brooke asked if Hollis and Tom had done drugs together.
Carter told Brooke that he only knew what the report said. He asked Hope how Deacon was, and Hope talked about how significant Tom and Hollis had been to Deacon. Ridge thought it was significant that Tom had saved Sheila's life. Brooke called it a coincidence, but Ridge didn't think those existed when it was about Sheila. Carter admitted he'd thought the same thing.
Hope asked why Tom and Hollis. "This is Sheila!" Ridge exclaimed and claimed that Sheila had tried to kill Steffy to get closer to Finn and Hayes. Ridge called Sheila psychotic.
As Ridge took a call, Hope thought of Hollis. A montage of memories of him played on the screen. After the call, the group discussed how drug use didn't match Hollis. Brooke assumed Deacon would have picked up on it. Carter assumed it reinforced their theory about Sheila. Ridge charged Carter with calling it what it was. Brooke asked why Sheila wasn't behind bars.
Later, Ridge still hadn't heard from Steffy. Carter wondered if she was okay. Ridge was sure she was at the hospital, getting to the bottom of things.
In the morgue, Li dropped the bombshell on Steffy that Tom and Hollis had died of the same drug at the same level of toxicity. Steffy insisted that Sheila, a former medical professional who knew about dosing, had done it. Agreeing that it further implicated Sheila, Li said she'd been on her way to confront Sheila. Steffy affirmed that she'd been about to do the same.
Finn asked if confronting Sheila, who might be back to her old ways, was wise. Steffy asked when standing by and waiting for Sheila to attack helped them. Steffy decided that she was going over there, and Finn and Li would go with her. Steffy believed they could pressure Sheila to slip up, and Steffy wouldn't rest until Sheila was in prison for the rest of her life.
At Deacon and Sheila's place, Deacon continued to freak out about Tom and Hollis. Sheila asserted that she didn't want Deacon's mind running wild with thoughts of murder. Pushing open the front door, Chief Baker asked if anyone had said murder.
Baker was there with questions about the two deaths in Deacon's establishment. Deacon stated that the men hadn't just been employees; they had been his friends. Baker asked Deacon to recount the moments before Tom's death. Deacon recalled that Tom had been performing on stage, and Tom had even had a song on the radio once. It had been a great night until Tom had collapsed. Sheila said she'd done what she could as a former nurse, but Tom had died "so fast."
Baker was sorry for Deacon's loss, but he said a case had been opened because a second employee had died. "A case?" Sheila asked. Baker said it was to make sure foul play wasn't involved.
Li, Steffy, and Finn arrived, and Steffy had an "ah-ha!" moment when she saw Baker. Sheila said they were cooperating with the police, and there was no need for "all that." Baker offered to talk to them at a different time, but Steffy said he'd want to hear it right then. She cued Finn, who revealed that Hollis had died of an overdose. Sheila looked at Deacon, who scoffed, certain there was no way because Hollis didn't use. It wasn't news to Baker, but Li and Steffy further said it had been the same drug and same toxicity levels in both men.
Steffy said two men had died, and they knew why. After a moment, Sheila scoffed, asking why they were looking at her. Steffy announced that Sheila had killed them. Sheila shot back that it was a dangerous accusation, and the animal-print-wearing Steffy quipped that Sheila was a dangerous animal. Deacon said it was enough, and he told Steffy to leave.
Steffy ignored Deacon, asking Baker when he'd lock up "the monster" who'd shot Finn and Steffy and left Li for dead on the side of the road. Li added that Tom and Hollis were the newest victims. Deacon said it was ludicrous to blame Sheila. Sheila told them all that she wasn't that person. She'd changed. She was in therapy and married to the love of her life. Sheila was living a clean and simple life.
"This woman..." Li started to say, but Deacon cut her off, determined that people would treat his wife with respect in his house. Deacon stated that Il Giardino was their home, and Tom and Hollis had been family. Sheila added that Tom had helped save her, and Hollis had respected her and hadn't seen her as a monster. She'd cared for each of them. She asserted that she was not responsible for Tom or Hollis' death.
Li challenged Sheila to explain what had happened. Sheila thought for a moment and then remembered that Hollis had been bothered by the contents of Tom's backpack. Li swallowed hard as Sheila said Hollis had thought it might have gotten Tom killed, and then Hollis had turned up dead, too. Sheila believed the clue was in the backpack, and she said they needed to find it. Li's eyes shifted as she seemed to settle into thought.
Steffy accused Sheila of lying about the "convenient backpack." Baker told Steffy to let him handle it and asked Sheila about the backpack. Sheila flashed back to her conversation with Hollis about the backpack. She said she felt horrible for being short with Hollis, but she'd been upset about Tom's death. Sheila didn't know what was in the backpack and had told Hollis to get rid of it.
Baker asked why Sheila would do that. Sheila explained that Tom had been without family, and she'd worried that drugs might still be in the bag. "You call the police, not throw it away!" Baker replied. Li contended, "Not unless you want to get rid of some damning evidence." Sheila said she wanted to learn what had happened as much as they did. She figured the backpack still had to be there somewhere, and the answers had to be in it. Li frowned.
Later, everyone searched the restaurant as Steffy stood with her arms folded. Baker entered, saying it wasn't in the stockroom. "Or Dumpster," Li said, entering. Sheila murmured that it wasn't there, and Li and Steffy began debating with Deacon about why Sheila would lie.
Baker asked if Sheila had been with Deacon the entire night. Deacon said she'd arrived later in the night. Sheila affirmed it but said she hadn't been downstairs, killing Hollis. Steffy told Baker to take Sheila in for questioning because Steffy didn't feel safe. Li taunted Sheila, saying it hadn't been the first time it had happened there, and there could be more.
Sheila asked Finn to say something. She asked if he believed her. He replied that he believed in second chances. He didn't know what had happened, but he did know that destruction followed Sheila wherever she went. Sheila rolled her eyes. Finn said his wife was right, and they would feel safer if Baker took Sheila in for questioning. Baker agreed.
"Chief Baker, take her away," Finn commanded. Sheila looked hurt as Baker led her out.
At the cliff house, Steffy and Finn arrived, conversing about the kids watching a movie at Eric's. Finn offered her some wine, but she figured she'd have the whole bottle after the day they'd had. Steffy noted that Sheila had expected Finn to speak up for her. Finn acknowledged that he'd made a lot of allowances for Sheila. Steffy said it was no longer the case, and he'd defended Steffy and their family.
Finn felt foolish for defending Sheila. He admitted that too many times, he'd left Steffy feeling unheard, and he was sorry. Steffy said it was behind them, and he'd stood up for the family when it had mattered. She loved Finn for it. Steffy disparaged Sheila, who'd gotten implicated in suspicious deaths, making things bad for her husband. Finn wondered why Sheila would go after the men.
Steffy got worried that Finn was waffling, but Finn said he'd meant what he'd told Baker. She was sure Sheila wouldn't admit to the murders. Finn replied that it was up to the cops, but Steffy and the kids would always be his priority. Steffy felt that Finn had done the right thing that day, and Steffy rehashed the things Sheila had done. Finn interrupted for more important things. "Let's get you out of these clothes," Finn uttered.
Later, Finn lit candles, and Steffy entered the living room in lingerie. Instrumental music played as the couple made out on the sofa. After Finn and Steffy made love, they talked about rarely having that kind of time for each other due to the kids and his schedule. He wanted her to never doubt his love. She said she didn't, and the way he'd stood up for her and the family meant the world to her.
In Eric's office, Hope, Ridge, and Brooke discussed Sheila being taken in for questioning. Hope still wondered why Sheila would want the men dead, but Ridge yelled, "It's Sheila!" Hope asked if Steffy had mentioned Deacon. Ridge decided to mention Deacon himself and asserted that Deacon needed to divorce Sheila and get rid of her.
Ridge figured that all wasn't lost because Finn had defended Steffy, which was a step in the right direction. There wasn't any new evidence, but Ridge figured only the "psycho nurse" could administer the same drug at the same dose to the victims. Ridge was glad Finn had seen the light about Sheila and could be the husband and father Steffy needed him to be.
Ridge asserted that Finn should have pushed Sheila away a while back. Hope replied that Sheila was Finn's birth mother, but Ridge noted that Li had been the one to raise him. Brooke didn't know what it would have been like if Sheila had. Criticizing Finn for letting Sheila in as an adult, Ridge said it had made Steffy think Finn couldn't be the husband and father she'd needed.
Hope interjected that Steffy didn't have to question Finn's commitment, and Steffy was very lucky to be married to a man like Finn. Brooke's brows rose. Ridge realized that he was late for a meeting with the mayor. He kissed Brooke and rushed out. Hope wondered if she should check on her dad, but Brooke said Deacon was probably at the police station, cheerleading for Sheila.
Brooke turned the topic to how Hope was doing without Douglas. Hope told her mother that Thomas had promised to prioritize Hope's relationship with her son. Hope added that she'd come to terms with Paris and Thomas' engagement, and she'd wished them the best. It wasn't easy for her to accept it, but "he" might have been right that she and Thomas hadn't been meant to be. Brooke asked who the "he" had been, and Hope shrugged, saying it had been Finn.
Hope revealed that Finn had said she could do better than Thomas -- something Brooke had said, too. Brooke decided she was worried about Hope's feelings for Finn. Hope stated that they were just good friends, but Brooke warned that an innocent moment could ignite. She warned her daughter to be careful around Finn, who was happily married.
"According to Steffy," Hope reasoned. Brooke corrected that it was according to Finn. Hope claimed that she could handle it. She said Steffy would never let anyone forget that Finn was devoted to her. Hope wondered if Finn was allowed to have friends. Brooke replied that he could. Hope said through that friendship, she'd realized that she was deserving of an intelligent, loyal, capable man just for her. "And that man won't be Finn," Brooke concluded.
Hope said she wouldn't mind it if Finn had a twin brother. She got that Finn was married to Steffy. "Someone that you've been at odds with," Brooke noted. Hope believed that she always would be at odds with Steffy; Hope didn't want it to affect her relationship with Finn.
Brooke noted that Hope had admitted her attraction to Finn. Hope wondered if Brooke would prefer if Hope had not been honest. Brooke said she wanted Hope to also be honest with herself. "Finn is off-limits," Brooke insisted. Hope said she knew that. Brooke added that he was married to a woman Hope had a history with regarding men. Hope quipped that she and Steffy had the same tastes. Brooke didn't want Hope to make the same mistakes her mother had.
Hope was sorry if she'd offended her mother. Brooke said Hope was vulnerable. Hope claimed that Finn was important to her as a friend. He'd been incredibly supportive of her, and she valued it. She'd also come to admire him as a man -- in many ways. Brooke cocked her head.
Later, Hope was alone. She flashed back on times with Finn. She thought of her mother's warning that a perfectly innocent moment could ignite unless Hope was careful around Finn.
Liam dropped by Finn's office at the hospital to reluctantly give him credit for helping to get Sheila placed in police custody. Finn noted that formal charges had yet to be filed against Sheila. Liam was certain those charges would be forthcoming. Finn voiced his belief that he still thought people could change. However, he felt that if Sheila truly had killed Tom and Hollis, then she needed to pay -- and could no longer have a place in his life.
Moreover, Finn stated that his and Steffy's relationship had never been stronger. "That's you sending me a message, right?" Liam asked. Finn nodded as he warned Liam against interfering in Finn's marriage.
In the design office at Forrester, Ridge and Brooke also scanned the front page of the paper. Ridge commented that Il Giardino had had no problems until Sheila had resurfaced. Brooke added that Sheila had "resorted to her old ways." Ridge smiled proudly as he praised Finn's decision to stand by Steffy. Ridged tired of talking about Sheila. He tossed the newspaper aside and pulled Brooke in for a kiss.
Ridge then leaped to his feet to grab some fabric samples for designs he had been working on for the Brooke's Bedroom collection. When he commented that Brooke was going to be "the star" of the collection, Brooke pushed back slightly and said that she'd only agreed to dip her toe in. "I'm not sure if I should be modeling lingerie at my age," Brooke said somewhat defeatedly. "I looked it up. 25 is the perfect time to go back into it," Ridge responded with a smile.
Brooke said that she did not want to look ridiculous modeling lingerie. Ridge disagreed and said that the thought of Brooke in lingerie was "enticing." He insisted that she still had "it." Ridge removed his suit jacket as he began to kiss Brooke passionately.
At Forrester, Steffy sat at the desk in the executive office to take a phone call from Finn. She thanked Finn for supporting her and for encouraging Chief Baker to take Sheila in for questioning. While looking at a newspaper headline that mentioned that Il Giardino had shut down due to "health hazards," Steffy hoped that Sheila would finally be "charged for her crimes."
Hope entered the office as Steffy was wrapping up her call. Hope seemed surprised to learn that Finn had supported Sheila being taken in for questioning. Steffy smiled broadly and noted that whatever "gray area" Hope believed might have existed between Sheila and Finn was "gone."
Steffy added that any chance of Sheila becoming a "regular person functioning in society" was also gone. Steffy demanded that Hope stop getting into Finn's head and trying to convince him otherwise. Hope asked if there was anything else that she was doing wrong. "You continually undermine me here at the company, you undermine my mother's place, you've interfered in my personal life -- there's just so many fun things for you to do," Hope muttered.
Hope lamented that the friendship she and Steffy had seemed to have been forging was a thing of the past. The two women bickered over Hope and Thomas' failed relationship. Hope claimed that Steffy had gotten what she'd wanted, but Hope noted that Steffy always seemed to get what she wanted. "But I'd be careful. One of these days, someone might cut you down to size," Hope warned.
"What could you possibly attempt? There's nothing you could do to me," Steffy retorted. Steffy dismissed Hope and told her to meet with Zende about the Hope for the Future line.
Once Hope had left, Steffy headed to the design studio, but the door was locked. She fumbled around in Pam's desk to find the key to unlock the door. She found the key hidden among some unfinished knitting projects. When Steffy unlocked the door and entered the design office, her face dropped. "Oh, no. Oh, whoa... great, another Logan," Steffy said as she grimaced.
Steffy averted her gaze as she urged Ridge and Brooke to "put on some clothes." As Brooke put her blouse back on, she pointed out that she and Ridge had "expected some privacy" because they had locked the door. Steffy pleaded with the pair to wait until they got home to engage in their extracurricular activities. "This is weird ," Steffy groaned.
Elsewhere at Forrester, Hope was on the phone with Zende while trying on some of the new designs for Hope for the Future when Finn entered the room. Finn apologized for barging in, but the half-dressed Hope playfully replied that she was certain Finn had "seen more" in his work as a doctor. Hope reached her arms out to both sides and asked Finn what he thought.
Finn stammered as he tried to think of a response. He called the gown "classy and provocative" before deciding that he needed to leave. Hope thought back to her veiled warning to Steffy. Hope told Finn that she didn't want him to leave because there was something that they needed to talk about. Hope thanked Finn for the advice he had given her about Thomas. "I was struggling, and you didn't have to help me, but you did, and you are a selfless man," Hope said.
Hope told Finn that Steffy was lucky to have him in her life, but Hope questioned if Steffy appreciated Finn. Seemingly out of nowhere, Hope told Finn that she found him attractive. "I would be lying if I said I didn't think about you and what it would be like to be with you," Hope continued. Finn cut her off and told her that she couldn't talk that way. "Can't a girl dream?" Hope asked as she looked at Finn seductively.
